Trim Stuck Console Lid

The console lid on my Civic isn't opening correctly, getting stuck. There is something wrong with the lever evidently. One to tell the dealer on Saturday I guess.

Now done a long run up the M3 and over to Southend and back. 4 people in the car and didnt hang around going up - on filling the car up it worked out at 50+ MPG.

Coming back I drove really carefully and was getting up to 59.1 MPG indicated before I got fed up with this after 50 miles or so, reverting to a bit more acceleration and speed, where MPG went down to 45.

Apart from Console LId and shocks no problems whatsoever. ( I blame this forum for giving me paranoia when I opened the fuel cap to fill up

)

So who said that the Civic did not have a locked glovebox, this may be an alternative!!
