Child safety lock

My problem is that the Child safety lock comes on by itself.
Normal you can switch it on or off and it stays that way. But when i put it off the switch automatically comes in the on position after I take a drive.
Are there other people that have the same problems?

It's not a problem, it's a lobbied for advantage only available on the early models, it's an anti-car jacking feature you will find as you slow and eventually stop the doors should unlock again. Honestly don't complain most of us would pay extra for this......

What i meant was that little white switch you find if you open the door. So that a child can't open the door from the inside even when the car stands still and turn off. it's verry annoyin when a adult sits in the back and can' get out off the car, because the switch that truned itslef on.

Which way does the switch have to move to be 'on'? If it has to move down, is the mechanism loose so that as the car moves and bumps on the road, the switch drops down by itself?

Could always try a bit of gaffa tape as a short-term fix!
