Trim Dash Getting Hot

I need a some help
On a recent non stop trip in France of about 300 miles.
I had the CD player on all of the time for about six hours
the dash area around the radio gets very warm
Normally I just have the radio on

has anybody else noticed this as my civic is going in on Monday ?

Yeah, dash boards do generate a fair amount of heat, especially CD players. There is nothing to worry about, really.

I don't want to drift off of topic but the dash getting hot I think is related maybe to my aircon problem

Yes we did agree CD's got very toasty, but until someone actually had something damaged we weren't going to worry about it!
