things haven't changed

Well I am glad I got rid of my civic and I feel very sorry for Cheltenhamshire

Honda and some dealers are just a bunch of crooks

they take your money and when you wan't what you have paid for they don't give a toss.

Honda is living on its past reputation

Been without my Civic for two months and its been such a pleasure to not have to wonder what is going to go wrong next or what the dealer will break next

And before Brodrick starts about my New Vw unless it breaksdown I shall keep away from the garage

Owning a Honda Civic should of been a joy but the back up by the dealer and lack of customer service by Honda proved otherwise

Geoff my long lost friend

I couldn't agree more, if it wasn't for the service I have received at Ruislip I would be front page headlines believe me between HUK and Chiswick I was driven to despair.

Im glad your VW is serving you well Geoff after all the hassle you had with the Civic.

Hello TC

Hi TC
I won't ask after the civic because we have to catch the ferry to england on friday and it might take that long for an update on your saga

Can't complain about the vw as I can't speak french
but its fine at the moment

what a change in the way they do business here I gave them a cheque for 30,000 Euro's and drove away (if they had done that with the civic i would of taken it back before they cashed the cheque)

Best wishes to everyone

Geoff

Geoff!!!!!!!

Look everyone is Geoff from France

this place has been so boring without you Geoff ( Really)
Make sure you log onto whatcar.com and get the up todate JD power survey where the civic did very well but I don't think the VW touran did all that well

Come back into the fold buy another civic

So they have had the car for 1 month in Swindon and not a single thing has been done.

WTF.

Emails have gone out to Steve and Gary asking them for feedback.

Kept the CRV....and will do until I get answers.
That is f*cking disgusting - you can quote me.

It's stuff like this that gets me seriously worried for the future of my Civic ownership. I can only hope I will have a long time enjoying my Civic & not having to deal with w*nkers like these.

I look forward to hearing their comments on how they can justify such disrespectful & disgusting behaviour.

Swindon - should never have been used to make cars. They should just bring them in from Japan where they have long standing traditions of upholding honour & integrity. Maybe someone at Swindon should have a go at seppuku.

Perhaps now some forum members can understand why the likes of Geoff and myself rant an rave so much only to be shot down by others just because they have the perfect car!!

Believe me its it so stressful to have problems with the car and get treated like an idiot by certain employees of Honda.

Thankfully my car is almost (touch wood, cross fingers etc etc) sorted out now and I am not just talking about the paint issues, but for me it has been an on going stressful experience since 1st March 2006.

Your right it is disgusting, and it is an absolute joke that so many different parts of the car need replacing and fixing and the list keeps growing of failing parts.

Brodrick

Thanks for the comments I miss you to

I won't be looking at any survey's I am happy at the moment

My saga with the civic is over and until this model Honda never had this many problems and if they did without the internet they could keep any problems quite

But I found this site just after buying my civic doing a search for naff radio's and knocking suspension

The rest is history

I am glad you and many others are happy but a company like Honda would have got much more respect if they treated the small amount of owners with problem cars (your words) like valued customers

I am glad to say its another nice sunny day without another battle with a Honda dealer etc etc

Saga for me is over lost £7k

But making friends like you it was worth it

Exactly why I am keeping my car I can not afford to lose money like that.
Geoff do you really class Broders as a friend after all his comments
Just kidding Broders

Cheltenhamshire - I wish you luck trying to pursue this my dealings with Steve Dyer is that he is an **** *** it would appear that no one at HUK or Japan give a damn about unhappy customers.

Hello Geoff,

Happy to read from you again !

I Hope your adaptation to the French style is not too distressing for you ... You could write a little "saga" about that maybe ?

And I'm very happy that your new car give you satisfaction !

Keep writing here, you will always be welcome !

So Cheltenhamshire, any progress? A month since your last post about your saga so hoping you have had some positive responses from Honda...
