Oh dear Raineeslover, 4k is not good at all.

Do you wear rings while driving?

Have you mentioned it to the dealer? If so, I imagine they say it is 'wear and tear'....but I feel that if it does go so easily that there may be an argument for it not being 'fit for purpose'.

Anyone else has this problem?

Congratulations!

Probably a bit early to want an excuse to take it off though....

I did mention the wear to the dealer but they just shrugged it off as 'wear and tear' - I think a letter to Customer Service might just highlight the poor performance of the offending article - really does make the interior look tatty.

It is wear and tear BUT it must also be fit for purpose and made out of materials that at least live up to a reasonable life expectancy.

It'll turn all white and spotty, like mine (the gear nob, that is) 'cos I have the same bad habit, while driving - and I've only played with for mine for nigh on 5 months and 14000 kms. My first Honda complaint - a stick that doesn't live up to it

Oh dear this is definitely going down hill........

It started out as an innocent post about my worn out gear knob, then got linked to an 'adult' themed scam and subsequently became a 'sticky'....

Now it is becoming spotty....
