And me too (two spares might come in handy ) as i do a lot of miles in my car (the other weekend did 900 miles in 13 hours)

Yes Sarahjo, I live in Kent and own a business in Surrey. My folks still live in Yorkshire so all in all i am doing 30-40k miles each year.

Despite the niggly faults (gear knob, Hands Free, creaking roof, rear trip coming away from the boot lid) I still think the car is the best there is.

Maybe Honda CS should ask us all for ideas on improving the models.

My last car (which has done 155k and still going) was better made (Japanese manufacture) than when it got popular and they built it in France.

The Honda should have been perfect but clearly still has probs even having spent nearly £20k on it.

I wonder if the same probs are on the new CTR?

Well Sarahjo & CP,
There ain't no diff: been playing with a new one all afternoon (old, worn out knob replaced on Honda guarantee!!) and I reckon it'll wear it out in about 5 months, cos' the plastic sheathing looks as if it is poorly applied - which has led to many critical situations over the years When the replacement is worn out, I'll probably go either for an after-market, wooden shillelagh model or a leather covered knob.

Have you thought about using Fairy liquid, its suppose to keep your hands soft, stop it from wearing out!
