[Exterior] Rear Number plate blistering

Only had the car for 1 month and ive just noticed the rear number plate is blistering.

Anyone else had this issue?

I have seen this on many cars and believe it is purely down to how carefully the dealer makes up the number plate. It will get worse if you leave it so I would ask for it to be replaced.

Yes it's a common fault with plates, nothing to do with the car. I'd seek a replacement from the dealer although they may say no as it's not part of the car and thus not covered by any warranty. Failing that any decent garage should be able to make you up a plate for £8-10 so long as you can prove ownership of the car which I suspect won't be a problem

Yep gave the car a wash this morning and was just drying it off
when I noticed blisters on the rear plate
so will be phoning the dealer on Monday

Sure it's not from 'Flash Burn' from them Gatso's.

The Civic tends to go a bit fast sometimes.

as we pay the dealer for the plates, its down to them to sort them. they will be coverd for the 1st 12months as they were new when you bought them!
