All holes complete with bungs
That is exactly what mine was like, the back of the three bungs from that door were thick with slime and mildew so god knows how long the water had been in there, I rarely use that door so hadnt heard anything.

Having the inside of my door taken off on Wednesday and having the inside of it checked.

erm - ok well I will try - might be a bit embarrassing at the dealers if I suddenly pull my camera out, but I will take it with me and see if I get the chance

removed all mine yesterday.

Had some water come out (but not a pint!), but it had been raining, and the car is on a weird slope, so not too worried about that.

bungs were a bit bunged up, and a bit slimey.

but hey ho, they're out, and I'll try and avoid big deep puddles

One note though - mention has been made of them being fitted upside down.

Can't see how - they're sculpted, and only really fit one way...

Yes I noticed that - I think it is going to be a case of every dealership telling a different story at the moment. I took all mine out because I wsa told to do so even though the other three doors were as dry as a bone and very clean.

Anything that gives additional airflow into the doors has to be a good thing - doesn't it ?

Checked mine yesterday, I did the drivers side first and hardly anything came out so thought mine were working correctly, then I checked the passenger side doors, there must have been over a pint in each door. Each of the little bungs were filled with muck, so not knowing whether it was best to remove them or not, I just cleaned them and stuck them back in. I'll keep an eye on them now though.

Remove them - they are not working correctly there is a little flap in them which supposed to let the water drain out and they dont work.

My dealers confirmed yesterday they are all to be removed an thrown away.

But if we all save them, they wont be worth anyting...

So throw them away!
