Windscreen Chipped windscreen

Few days ago small rock hit my windscreen. Well yesterday I noticed that I have chipped windscreen. It seems just like a small thing but it annoys me.

Does anyone knows if it needs to be repaired?

Safety first, get it repaired. It could possibly get bigger meaning the windscreen would need to be replaced. Plus if you do have an accident it could be more likely to shatter. You can now get chips repaired reasonably cheaply.

AutoGlass were doing them for free in my local Tesco car park last weekend

yeah make them repair usually for these kind of things they inject a sort of transparent resin in it.
I don't know how it works in the UK but here facilities exist to perform these operations (and generally it doesn't cost you a thing as it is charged on your insurance)

You can buy kits now and do it yourself, seems to be fairly easy to do.
