Squeaks Squeaky Clutch?

Can't believe it, my old 8 yr old corsa squeaks, but ive just bought a 08 plate FN2 CTR and the clutch has signs of squeaking, is this normal? or have i dried out the grease with the footwell heaters?

This has been talked about a lot. Look further down the posts and you will see it. Mine squeaked when i bought it and they greased it for me, very common.

Took my 09 type s gt in for its normal service few months back. Got it back with a squeaky clutch that came an went. After couple of months of going mad, took it back in to find out that it needed a new clutch box...

New one fitted under warranty. The silence is heaven. lol

Have to report that I had the clutch box replaced under the Honda care warranty, and after about 6 months, the infamous squeak is back.....

I believe that s something to do with the pedal hitting a bit of plastic at the back of it

Sigh.... just bought my first civic and it didn't squeak during the test drive.

This morning driving to work, it squeaked really quite loud. I can see this doing my head in. I put some WD40 on the clutch spring etc.. that you can access from inside the car. No luck with that.

From reading around it seems that the problem is with a worn master cylinder.
