Is anyone experiencing a wind noise/ resonance noise on the offside when accelerating 50 to 60 mph. It seems to go away when I take my foor off the pedal. I did think it might be the triangle trim by the door mirror which I had replaced but to no avail. Anyone got any ideas ? Exhaust perhaps ? I have the 1.4 ES model where the exhaust exits down. The fancy triangles are blanked off.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. |

only thing I can really suggest is to get the passenger to press this that and the other and see which bit stops it, sorry
could be a whole multitude of things in the door, or (worse) under the car where you can't touch it not heard of it before though - which doesn't help you very much - sorry! |

I have just driven home from Coventry and I cannot fault my Civic for quietness. I was very impressed when comparing it to the Lexus LS430 I had as a Company car. The only thing I notice is the engine noise when accelerating, as the Lexus was faster and silent; otherwise this is a very quiet and smooth car.

...pardon...can you speak up a bit...I've got custard in one ear and jelly in the other; I'm afraid I'm a trifle deaf... |
