Question Resonance noise at 50-60MPH

Is anyone experiencing a wind noise/ resonance noise on the offside when accelerating 50 to 60 mph. It seems to go away when I take my foor off the pedal. I did think it might be the triangle trim by the door mirror which I had replaced but to no avail. Anyone got any ideas ? Exhaust perhaps ? I have the 1.4 ES model where the exhaust exits down. The fancy triangles are blanked off.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

only thing I can really suggest is to get the passenger to press this that and the other and see which bit stops it, sorry

could be a whole multitude of things in the door, or (worse) under the car where you can't touch it

not heard of it before though - which doesn't help you very much - sorry!

I have just driven home from Coventry and I cannot fault my Civic for quietness. I was very impressed when comparing it to the Lexus LS430 I had as a Company car. The only thing I notice is the engine noise when accelerating, as the Lexus was faster and silent; otherwise this is a very quiet and smooth car.

If it's such a quite car why were you shouting?

"I told my dad that I wanted to run away from home. He said 'On your marks'!"

...pardon...can you speak up a bit...I've got custard in one ear and jelly in the other; I'm afraid I'm a trifle deaf...

Sorry, I didn't think that you were just joking!

I said, 'I didn't think that you were just joking'

I said, oh, never mind!

I get a similar sound, but mine seems to be coming from the roof somewhere behing me (Middle int. light area??). I'm having real difficulty in finding it and it's starting to bug me!
