Missing Sat Nav DVD

New to the forums after I ordered my Civic Ex and I was looking through the net to find some good sites to look at to fill the void at the time between ordering and receiving the car. Just picked it up at the weekend and the dealership was a bit surprised to find that the Sat Nav DVD has gone missing (the empty case is in the glove box ) They tried discs from other cars in the showroom but none of them worked as they were an older version, so the main downside to this at the moment is that I have my brand new Civic Ex which I want everyone to see and I can't show off the Sat Nav/Voice activation as all you get when you start the car up is DVD Disc not Inserted (you can select the Audio or Climate option to change the display, but the Info/Map/Menu buttons don't work). As our good friend Homer would say, DOH! I've been told that a new DVD has been dispatched and I should be able to collect it soon

There was one on ebay a couple of weeks ago but didn`t think it would have been of interest.

I'll let you know when I get it if it works when trying to find places in the UK

Well the DVD has arrived (I had to configure it myself as the guy in the dealership didn't know how ) and the only thing that doesn't work that I have found out so far is the fast food restaurants, everything else that I have tried (hotel/hospital/chinese restaurant/bank etc) have all come up with addresses in the UK.

I may be being lazy here but is there a thread with all the Sat Nav version numbers? From having read some of the posts it seems that your newer version has far more UK POIs than some?

I've still noticed a few gaping holes in the POI list, for example my nearest bank is in Sheffield even though I live in Newcastle you would have thought that they would at least have programmed everything in before releasing half-a**ed versions. Don't get me wrong, entering in every restaurant/bank/hotel etc in Europe is no small task, but if it's something you're releasing to you buyers then you'd think they'd at least have the decency to have a pretty comprehensive list, it'd be like the yellow pages giving you the latest book and it's full of businesses in France!
