That is shocking, don't take any S**T on this one Scott, get them to sort it out, youv'e paid a lot of unnecessary money out already, dont let them have any more.

Kremmen I think its Harrow way, its not Ruislip.
Sco that is terrible a parking ticket!!! I would kick off big time if that were me, makes me think even more that you should never have had the car fixed without an independant check you just can not trust these people |

Thanks TC.
I was going down the route that you and CF went to Chiswick even though Ruislip is nearer and more convenient. I remember when I first went to Ruislip just before Xmas to have a closer look at a Civic. Because they had just had a large delivery there was nowhere to park except for the side road by the parts dept and I can't remember whether that is yellow lined or not. I decided to leave it until the new year and in Jan there was on-site parking available. |

Im sure from previous posts Sco uses a dealer in Bushey (might be wrong) I have to say whenever my car has been in at Ruislip they have always taken good care of it. Some of the stories you hear are just ubelievable |

I know for a fact Chiswick park customers cars on the road (which I'm sure invalidates their insurance) and leave them there over night. (I work very close to them!)
They are a complete bunch of t**sers who gave me a wonderful experience like Scott, so I assume it's them he's talking about. If it's not they must have trained at the same 'Ar*ehole Training Acadamy' Scott, you MUST fight this and not let them get away with it! Like I've said before, the car IS great, the dealers are THE worst I have encountered in 18 years of driving - and on the basis I will NOT be buying another Honda. The best one I've had with them is my Civic was in for the 10,000th time for some other problem, and as always I get a replacement car as it's quite a distance from where I live. So anyway, driving around in this dirty little Jazz I decided to put something in the glove compartment as I was parking, and what did I find??? Some blokes disabled parking pass (one of the blue ones!). From what I can make out, the car I was driving must have been somebody's that had left it in for a service - I was totally shocked! Can you imagine if I had crashed it? What would they tell that other person then? |

Maybe he had left it in the car when he was using it as a courtesy car, as much as Chiswick have annoyed me I dont think they would stretch as far as loaning out a customers car but they should check it over when it comes back in from loan. I had a courtesy car once that had someone elses private insurance details in the glovebox for the loan car, it gave his name, address, bank account number, date of birth etc. It had been in there for weeks judging by the date on it. I shredded it. |

Whenever I entrust mine to any third party I note the mileage.
Never had any issues like this one. I did question once when I was told the mechanic was out on the compulsory test run as they had worked on the brakes only to find the car had only covered 2/10 of a mile! Mind you that was a Citroen dealer. |

I see what you are getting at, but this disabled badge actually had the car reg on it, so I honestly think it was his car. Not only that, but it looked used/lived in, much more than any other loan car I've ever had. |

If Honda UK search this site for 'Chiswick Honda' that will provide them with enough evidence as to how poor they are! Last edited by Bog; 16th May 2007 at 12:23. |
