ECO-driving

Does anyone else feel that it's hard to drive economicly with DBW? To keep the eco-mode at 6 dots you can barely touch the gaspedal. It's very sensitive, i find it a bit difficult to drive economicly. My fuel usage is abt 6.0l / 100 km. I usually drive 100 km's until stopping, usually the usage is 5.9-6.2l / 100 km with speeds between 80-120 km/h. Petrol engine btw.

Any experiences?

I've never gotten to 5,6l/100 km, even with the AC off.

I've only driven 5000 kilometers, does that affect?

I ignore the green leds I find keeping the car below 3500rpm (I have a 1.8 petrol and the i-shift it seems to do this for me anyway) and using the cruise control does the trick if you're worried about consumption. 5.6l/100km is like over 50 mpg which unless I am driving in scotland, wales or in the middle of the night I wouldn't expect the prevailing traffic conditions to allow me to get anywhere near that... anything around 47mpg (6l/100km) and I am happy.....

I've got 5,6l/100km many times when keeping steady 80km/h, also with AC on. AC doesn't seem to affect it.
