Having owned my type s for a week i decided to purchase some very expensive cleaning and polishing gear mostly from autoglym , so on friday last week got the washer out gave it a good hose down to make sure there was no dirt , next to fill me new bucket with some wash and conditioner and hot water , placed new wash mitt on hand and gave it a good wash followed by a shammy down and high gloss wax , this is when i noticed a small white dimple on the bonnet then another and so on this also carried on to the wings just little dimples (like somebony had been round the bonnet and front wings with a pin when the paint was still wet), now having done a bit of spray work i know this can happen one of two ways either a reaction to the base paint or dirt in the spray cannister , the latter meaning the car at somepoint has been resprayed as factory spray machines will stop spraying if there is any sign of a foreign object in the paint. So off to the Honda dealership where i purchased the car where a man came out from the bodyshop and took some photos of the wings and bonnet and booked it in for monday 23rd to re-spay them. When i purchased the car i was informed by Honda man said the car had been Hpi checked and was clear, having looked underneath the car there is no sign of front end damage of any sort , so i am bemused why or how this has happened i have had the car ten days now and love it to bits so i am very reluctant to let it go but nobody can tell me what has happened to it , it has been dealership demo till i brought it at five months old . If i was to return it what are my rights does anybody know any infomation would be greatly appreciated .RICK
