Seatbelt rattle

Hi

The passenger and rear seatbelt "plugs*" touch hard plastic on the door pillar and rear wheel arch when not in use and consequently rattle annoyingly on poor roads. Has anyone got a quick fix for this please???

**I call them plugs but they are the part of the seat belt that you "plug" into the seat belt socket/clasp.

Thanks

Never had a problem with the fronts, but the rears in my car remain plugged into the sockets to prevent them rattling around.

I wondered why the dealers did that! Damned annoying if i have more than 1 passenger tho!

Wondering if a bit of rubber/felt could help me... guess not.

I hook the front one over the rib bolster of the passenger seat as a rule, but becuase i forgot today hence my post.

Yes, rear ones can rattle badly.
Quick fix I did was to pull them up and keep them just over the hook for seatbelt on side (hmm.. sorry for poor explanation, but I guess you get the idea).

My front passenger one is OK but for the rears I have a neat ploy,

I went to B&Q and got some black heavy duty wide velcro (on a roll), must be about 7cm/3" wide. I used the soft material bit and stuck some on the hard plastic as a buffer.

worked
