Broken handbrake
All,
Yesterday whilst applying the handbrake on my civic type s the end of the lever cover broke off in my hand, has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know if you can just by the the cover rather than the whole lever? |

Hi, yes this happened on my 08 type R (was part of the final straw for me).
At first the stealer said it wouldn't be covered under my extended warranty as it was "trim" - I went completely bismark at this point ant reeled off in the showroom the list of issues i'd had for all to hear.... They reluctantly contacted HUK and 2 things came out - the "trim" is an integral part of lever so whole lever had to be done..... HUK would do it as a goodwill gesture....... Got it done...... got rid! |
