Satnav Possible faulty Sat Nav screen

I'm getting a fault (I think) on my Sat Nav screen. Sometimes on start up I'm getting an all over purple hue on the screen which after a mile or so goes away and the screen reverts to it's normal colours.

Does anyone else get this or do I have a faulty screen

Sounds like it's faulty - a green or purple tint to TFT/LCD screens usually happens when one of the inputs isn't working correctly.

I was afraid it might be. I don't relish the thought of them dismantling the dashboard to get the screen out

Welcome to rattle hell!

To be honest, mine's been out, and it's fine - apart from the tweeter needing me to push it into place a little to stop a rattle, no probs. It's pretty tight, so goes back well.
