Until you are trying to talk to someone about where you are trying to meet them and they are talking you in on a map, not that easy on the SatNav as not all roads are numbered, and placed named etc. I speak from experience, also the detour function is not always a good thing to use on the Civ, nor the avoid road, at least with a map you can figure out your rough direction and then let the SatNav figure out where it wants to go. I always keep one in the pocket behind the passenger, or the boot (less useful when actually moving)

Out of curiosity, do the European cars have the pocket on the back of the right seat. Seems odd if they do, keeping 2 lots of inventory to save the cost of the pocket.

Missed the boat

Did not twig it until too late - with my 'Transform' bespoke leather I could have requested two seat back pockets. Guess they just followed Honda's standard pattern. Bu..er it!
Anyone taking the bespoke leather route - its something to consider.

I never owned one myself, but I believe it's no myth!
Had a '76 with a twin hotspot AH engine, flat screen and washer jets that ran of the spare.

I would have rather had a compressor and some tyre gunk

Hmm .... never kept a collection of ordnance survey maps in any car I've owned! The stock AA atlas isn't that detailed and the sat nav allows you to zoom in and out to get more detail which you can do on the move, I use the sat nav as a moving map I suppose horses for courses... Map pocket still empty in mine
