Honda Customer Services.
Guys,
Is this the email address for Honda Customer Services: customer.servicescars@honda-eu.com I sent them a letter on 1st August 2006 complaining about a number of matters, I've had no response - not even a acknowledgement letter. So, today I telephoned them and guess what..................they've not received my letter - surprise, surprise - they probably read it and filed it under "B" for bin!! B. |

If you're not happy with Honda UK Customer Service then is there anyway a complaint can be passed further up the ladder i.e. to Honda's main office, so that they can see just what crap service Honda UK is giving their customers and how they're de-valuing the Honda badge/name?

customer.servicecars@honda-eu.com i.e. no 's' after 'service'. Thanks Matt. |

I have to defend Honda customer services here. Admitedly I have only contacted them once and that was last week via letter. I received an aknowledment of the letter by return post.
Whether my complaint is dealt with, I will let you all know. |

I think you were lucky there!
I sent a letter and they claimed they never received it, so I sent it via email and they took 2 weeks to reply (after much chasing). |

I also sent a long letter and received no response!! I know they received it as they told the customer services department at the dealership they had
I think they are snowed under with complaining civic owners and cant keep up |

The website stated the Sport came with front fogs and a spoiler. They told me to go away as I should have checked the spec with the dealer before siging.
However the website STILL lists rear spoiler in the spec and I don't have either on my car. |

I only picked my Sport one week ago, and that certainly had the 'free' fogs and spoiler - I don't think your dealer is doing you any favours here (surprise, surprise!).
Did you get to talk to the Sales boss man, 'cos its their name that is going to get dragged through the mud? |

Call trading standards. Then make up a TS call reference number if you dont get given one and quote it at the dealer. You owe them NOTHING.

This statement is lifted straight from the Honda 'Wish List' pdf, without checking I cannot be certain that the same is said on the web site configurator but I suspect it is

I will check on the website and see if it's there too |

Found it. In the legal section of the configurator

Don't get me wrong, I think you are definitely being hard done by, I'm just saying that using the website as evidence probably won't get you anywhere. Better to get written statements from other with the Sport that do have front fogs and the spoiler and bought the car around the same time/before you did when did you get your Sport? |

Here is a shot of the website from back in December, when I ordered. I do feel gutted as they outright said that they had not heard of this mistake before, and as the website has a disclaimer, they will not be paying to have them put on my car. (From Honda customer service). The fogs and spoiler can clearly be seen on the pic below.
Just been on the site now and it now lists fog lights as an 'option' but still has Rear Hatch Spoiler listed in the equipment list. I ordered the car in December, and took delivery in mid april. |

Don't they class all cars to have the rear spoiler, but refer to the extra as a colour spoiler. Although I am interested to know what the body coloured side sill garnish is, standard on the EX, is that inside the doors?

Ah, ok, well that may explain the spoiler then - I wasn't aware of that, thanks... but it doesnt alter the fact that I was expecting one on and it didnt come with one.
Aside from all the dirt (discraceful I know!) this is what the side sill looks like, although im not sure what im supposed to have/or be looking for. What is a body coloured side sill garnish? Thanks Matt. |

I think the body coloured side sill garnish must be that bit inside the doors, but it hardly seems worth making a feature of. I thought they meant the black bit, but thats not coloured on any model is it?
