Recalls Windscreen Strip

My local Main Dealers carried out the recall on the Windscreen strip about 6 weeks ago. A week after this I was cleaning the car and noticed that the strip at the top of the screen was not stuck down ( you could lift it up) So i rang them and they said they would have a look. The car went in to them for a suspension knock (which they couldnt trace!) and they agreed that the strip needed re doing. (i.e they didnt do it properly the first time

) but they would need to get clearance from Honda first.I rang them again yesterday as I still hadnt heard anything, and they said they were still waiting for clearance!!!! Any one else had this problem? Or is my Honda Dealers Incompitent.

I had the same problem with the windscreen strip a week after I bought my Civic but got it replaced the following week.
They put the spring into the fuel cap on asking too.

No problems with ma Honda Stealer yet...

Dont quite undestand, my strip looks like is rubber, so whats to rub?

Anyother pictures elsewhere?
