Squeaks annoying 'window' squeak

im hearing a squeak from what sounds like the passenger side window.

Its sounds like the rubber seal on the window when i hit bumps, but from reading other threads this could by anything. ive eliminated the glove box, but its near imposible to track it down! any ideas?

my car is going into the dealer on wed, can they do anything, when i dont know the cause? or will they look at me asif im an idiot!

Is it common to have so many teething problems these days? my car has been in the garage 3 times since buying it only 3 weeks ago.

its an awesome car, but hate niggles such as these and the boot rattle problem

How did your trip to the dealers go?

I know how you feel, I picked mine up about 6 weeks ago and have been on rattle hunts ever since.

I had a few rattles on the passenger side, maybe yours will be one of these:

1) the far corner where the dash meets the windscreen. The dealer fixed this one with hi-tec sponge, which they left poking out! Had to take it in again to get them to conceal it.

2) where the passenger A-pillar meets the dash. You can check for this one by poking the dash, if it makes a clicking noise it may be the cause. The dealer fixed this one too.

3) the glovebox lid. I fixed this one with some foam around the latch points.

4) the passenger tweeter. I fixed this one by taking it off (watch you don't break the clips though) and lining the edges with thin craft foam. It was tricky to get this back on.

So in summary my solutions were foam...and lots of it!

God i thaught it was just me , mines going in on Friday for a noise from the door /window . Its doin ma nut in.
