Worn Clutch Pedal

I have the 2.2 D Sport version, which comes with the fancy shiny sporty johnny metal pedals. Now I have 38.000 km (about 23.000 miles) and the rubber pads on the clutch pedal are completely gone already, and the metal is getting scratchy. It's rather slippery too, especially when driving with wet shoes.
Anyone else had this problem? Do they replace the rubber pad under warranty? Not that it will help much, unless they are willing to provide me with a set of 5 or so.

I fancy that Honda, will get out of it, by accusing you of not driving in slippers.
There is a How To in the search for fitting them yourself.

Maybe they will, it's not expensive after all, however I'm a bit surprised, I've had normal rubber pedal pads on my previous cars and they were never worn, not even after 200.000 km, what kind of rubber do they use??? chewing gum?

Hey all,

I had the same in my last Civic VTEC Sport... after 25,000 miles the grip had totally worn off, made driving with wet soles a bit slippy.
Honda would be stupid if they didn't sell replacement pads...

Honda must sell replacement pads or grip... they'd be stupid not to!
