Model year 1.8 Ex Ordered Today!

Hi All,

Just this lunchtime ordered a black 1.8 EX. No word on when I'll get it, s'pose I should have asked when I signed!

Have read a couple of things about an 2008 model on here. Should I be receiving one of those or is it the luck of the draw? And anyway, what's different with the new one if anything?

Hi Dave, welcome and congratulations on your choice of car.
Main difference is parking censers on EX I think

Speaking of cost, it really is shocking how far away from that first 'best i can do mate' price they give you with some good quality haggling and two dealers fairly close together.

what did you pay in the end? mine was £15360 (£15420 with mats) otr. Again a long way off the 'best' price.

<gulp> Nowhere near that price, might have something to do with me having it on PCP. I ended up settling on 17077 with free mats, nighthawk black paint, supaguard and tank of fuel (but i've since read that a full tank should be part of otr anyway??). Seems a lot more than yours but it's still nearly 2 grand less than the first figure they gave me (and 6 months less on finance).
