Delivery Times?
Approximately how long are the delivery times like for the Civic? I realise that it's going to very from order to order, but is it typically weeks or months? I get the impression that Type S and Type R models take the longest, but what about the ES and EX for example? And do paint and trim colours come in to it?
Thanks |

It will totally depend on exactly what spec you order - and inwhat colour...
Honda produces them in batches - and seem to hang on a bit to see if they can get enough orders to make a batch. If you're lucky, you might find that the car you want is sitting on a dlr forecourt somewhere, and you can have it in a few days If they're making it from scratch - could be 10-12 weeks... |

So pot luck really
Having read through the list of options, I reckon I'll either be going for a standard ES or EX without any extras, so hopefully that'll make things a bit easier. I'm not actually that bothered about colour either, as long as it's not red or orange Dave. |

Most of the options are dealer fit anyway (except satnav/leather/glass roof & maybe others)
I only waited a fortnight for my Type S but I was reasonably flexible on colour choice. |

I ordered first week of Jan 08. The car arrived at dealers last week 8th Feb. So, around 5weeks wait. Still waiting to colour code/fit image pack. Otherwise, it'll be ready for collection 1st March.

Went into Parks of Hamilton to order my car on Sunday.
Spec is Type S GT i-Shift with Sat & HFT in Red, nothing special. After checking the computer you could have knocked me down with a feather. Waiting time. 20Weeks...5 months it's a production car by honda. thought I was in the Maserati Dealers asking for a hand built car. So here starts the wait. The dealer will see if he can track one down at another dealers place. Ed. |
