Conclusion

Hello People!

It seems that Estonia and Romania ar the cheapest markets in Europe. At the other pole is Norway with unbelievable prices in Romania, with 32.000 euros (the price for the 1.8 sport model) we can buy a NEW well equipped BMW 3 Series or a Mercedes C-Klass I guess in Norway the income is very big, other wise i can't explain this big difference. Maybe someone from Norway can explain me why prices are so big there. THank you in advance!

PS : what's the medium income in Norway? IN romania : 300 euros and the minimum income is 110 euros

Prices in Belgium:

Civic 3d
1.8 Type S 19.990
2.2 i-CTDi Type S 23.160
2.0 Type R 25.900

Civic 5d
1.4 15.990
1.4 Comfort 17.590
1.4 Sport 18.690
1.8 Comfort 19.190
1.8 Sport 20.590
2.2 i-CTDi Comfort 21.740
1.8 Executive 22.290
2.2 i-CTDi Sport 23.140
2.2 i-CTDi Executive 24.840

These prices do include VAT, but do not inculde the clever belgian one-time "BIV" tax. (Which is almost 2500 € for a TypeR)

It would take me to far to go into detail, but the standard equipment slightly varies from the UK versions, e.g. the Type R has standard HID's here.

K.

Sadly enough it seems like we can beat Norway when it comes to the price on a Civic, Norway and Denmark is probably the most (if not THE most) expensive countries to get a set of wheels.

1 € = 7,4607 DKK

Civic 3 door (metallic finish and on the road):

2,0 Type R 358.480 DKK = 47.379 €
2,0 Type R Plus 399.480 DKK = 53.545 €

Civic 5 door (as above):

1,8 Comfort 258.480 DKK = 34.646 €
1,8 Sport 278.480 DKK = 37.326 €
1,8 Sport i-Shift 293.480 DKK = 39.337 €
1,8 Executive 338.480 DKK = 45.368 €
2,2 i-CTDi Sport DPF 363.480 DKK = 48.719 €

And some of the Civic models is not even expensive cars in Denmark, the 1,8 Sport is competitive on price against a car as KIA Ceed 2,0 Sport 265.878 DKK = 35.637 €. The cheapest 5-door 140 HP Golf with less equipment than any Danish Civic is 304.535 DKK = 40.819 € and the 5-door 200 HP Golf GTI is 493.121 DKK = 58.858 €.
