Options Does Civic EX come with reverse sensors

Hello I wonder if you can help? I have just bought a Civic EX and collect it this weekend. On Hondas website it says the ex comes with reverse sensors as standard however the dealer says thats the civic that is released in March 2008. So at the mo my civic is coming with no sensors :S

I thought that the new Civic EX's came with Sensors from now, as they are building the 08 model. But I am sure more updated people will be able to tell you. I don't live in the UK and they aren't standard on Models over here.

Look at the above. I think if you are paying increased price they should be fitted

you need to look at your v5 or the cars vin plate find out if it
is an 07 build or an 08 build - I I would say it is an 07 build
but if it is an 08 then it should have the parking sensors

I took delivery of my EX on Nov 23rd, it is an 07 model.
Car was ordered on 19th Sept and I was told it would be an 07 model. If I wanted an 08 model it was 20weeks lead-time.

When I ordered the car (1.8EX in red with leather and glass roof) I was told there was more than 10 available in this spec in Honda stock.

I'm sure there won't be too many 08 models on the road yet because they will be shifting the 07 models so it will depend on the colour and spec as to whether you get an 07 or 08 model.

I dont know if mine is 07 or 08 but its a 1.8 EX and the rear parking sensors were standard. arrived at dealer on 5th nov 07, had a 6 or 7 weeks wait from order

I think you will find the EX comes with Sat Nav and built in camera for reversing

No.
It comes with Satnav, the camera is an option.

2008 EXs have reversing sensors as standard.

But check with your dealer as this may vary country to country.

I have ordered a 2.2EX for Mar 1. Rear sensors are standard for the 08 model. My dealer struggled to find an 08 model in red and offered to add them to an 07 at no extra charge. I stuck it out for and 08 model and he managed to find one that had just arrived at another dealer. His view was that Honda want to shift the existing stock by upgrading it to the 08 spec. Apparently that is the only change. Cheers

There is also a change to the footwell, at least driver side.

This is related to Honda trying to improve safety and results in different mats being needed.

I ordered mine 25th Nov got it 1st December and it was an 08 model with the rear parking sensor as standard, 1.8EX NHB
