Okay,
We all have a difference of opinion (this site would be pretty boring if we all had the same opinions)
It is good to see you guys agreed to disagree and let the matter drop!

A few others on here could learn a thing or two from you guys.

Ahh shut up and keep your opinions to yourself, you, you ,you.......

Joking aside, I know exactly what you mean.

Just to add my opinion:

I would consider buying a young second hand but would be slow to buy a second hand 'performance' car.

Totally agree!
When buying my Type R,
The salesman said they took there demo to "Knockhill Race Track" the previous weekend so that potential customers could give it a good thrashing round the track!

After my test dive he told me he could do a good deal on the demo
I politely declined

Insistently it was a 56 reg Bronze R gt, i think it was R:-00046 (if any one was unlucky enough to buy it)

So erm - do you think anyone I know wants to buy mine

Pumatron - if people wish to express their disppointment with the car then this forum is the place to do it, I dont see anyone who is unhappy telling people who are happy to stop posting!! If you dont like reading it then you find something better to do in the evenings.

Performance cars can be a bit of a risk if they have been abused and are being sold on as problems develop.

However many are owned by enthusiasts who know how to look after their cars, ie service them and warm them up before using the performance etc. A performance car bought from someone who falls into this category can be a bargain.

When going to look at a car it is worth assessing the previous owner as much as the car !

Yes Munro, I agree. It's as they get older and fall into the hands of morons, for want of a better word, that they really start to suffer. I still think that demo CTR's are mis-treated by everyone. My first test drive in a CTR the salesman said he'd see me back in about 15 minutes, so I must admit I did mis-treat it from cold

You have been very unlucky with your car TC, as you say it is probably due to it being one of the first without the bugs ironed out. Honda should make it their business to sort out these problems quickly and efficiently, or they will find more people reluctant to buy their new models until they are proven.
