Civic type s gt

Bought myself brand new Mini cooper sept 2007,57 plate xtras sports seats ,tlc,spare wheel,cost me £13400,car to small so traded in for brand new civic type S 3 door gt though it had to be regestered dec 17 2007 57 plate,mettalic black,good old arnie gave me £13500 trade in for my mini cooper,and I gave £1900 cash ,was this a good deal or no,,,,and while Im at it where do I get a decent set of car mats I see them advertised on ebay ,though scared to buy incase they curl up at edges.Thanks for Reading .Jockserb oh when I engage second gear sometimes it doesnt go in properly maybe its my driving??????

i think thats a good price, i paid something equal for my 1.8.
Cant help on the mats issue, i got mine with the car, you can offcourse always buy them at your dealer.
And as for second gear, just de-clutch (is this propper english? ) and it should be sorted. Sometimes i have problems engaging first gear but wouldnt be worried about it. Just about any car i've driven with gave me that problem.

There are genuine Honda mats advertised on ebay, so you should be ok if you check the seller history properly.

Sounds a good price to me, I also got the mats from the dealers, and occasionally have problems with second gear though not enough to warrant taking in to have it looked at, I thought it must be my c%$p driving

I occasionally have problems engaging second-gear in my Type-S. I also thought it was my crap driving before seeing other people had the same problem here!

It's the only small blemish in an otherwise superb car though.

I turned in an 07 5 month old Z4 for my SGT, and I'm well please (however I lost £6K on the BM)

Good job getting rid of the mini!

Someone I work with had one - and 05 reg - she had SOO much wrong with it she complained for a month and they gave her a new one...!
