Colours Only a few colours available for 2008 version

Hi all,

I wanted to buy my civic 2008 in January but to my surprise they only have a few colours available. Do you know why??? Moreover, these colours are not the most wanted!!!

They have available:
-ROYAL BLUE PEARL
-BLUEISH SILVER
-TANGERINE ORANGE
-MILANO RED

Here in Spain the most frequently seen colours are:

-NIGHTHAWK BLACK
-MILANO RED
-GRAY GALAXY

What do you think? Do you know more about the changes regarding colours in 2008 version?

oooh thats a shame if they are only releasing those colours! although it will make my colour a bit more rare!

Do you know if the available colours change from time to time?

I want a gray galaxy, not a tangerine.

No, you'll likely find that those are just the colours that are available for you at that time - I would imagine that all the cars coming to your part of the world at that time in the other colours are already sold. You'll therefore probably find that you can get the colour you desire if you wait longer for it.

Meanwhile, I though Galaxy Grey was discontinued anyway last year - so there's little chance of you being able to get it on a new car anyway.

I hope not. I got a '2008' 1.8 ES i-SHIFT in Galaxy Grey last Monday.

What about the normal black... or just a normal silver...

By just releasing those 4 colours Honda might piss several people off!

I like the fact that he says that Milano Red is in the list, but its not a wanted colour although its one of the most popular in Spain

You may find that they are the only paint colours that they have in stock at the moment (or have too much of). Its like everything with Honda at the moment if you want something different from what they have in stock then you have to wait for it.

Jings think, if you want a Type R right now then it would only be red it would seem as you don't get the luxury of oodles of colours to choose from

Yeah, take into account that our culture, our mind, our weather, .... I think that Italians are very similar:

The ranking of colours here are (i made a survey):
1.- NIGHT BLACK
2.- MILANO RED
3.- GALAXY GREY
4.- NIZA BLUE
5.- ALASKA SILVER

I am sure that TANGERINE ORANGE is going to success here. Moreover many people complain that WHITE PEARL is not available. A guy even painted his car!!! Look at the pictures below.

Anybody knows the list colours for 2008 version??? I want a GALAXY GREY. I hope they don't remove it!

Not keen on the bonnet, but the rest YES!!!! I've heard that Galaxy Grey is discontinued but like someone has said they got a new one the other week. Maybe send a wee mail to Holdcroft and ask them to confirm, they are a Honda dealer after all and will be able to confirm i'm sure.
