If that was in a brand new car, you pay for that in the on the road costs.

They do make a nice cup of tea.

Dimply’s right. If it was a new car, a full tank is in with the price. Go back and demand your freebies.

Thats not common over here - not anymore, unfortunately.
Used to be like that in the good old days, though..
The first thing I had to do after picking up my brand new spaceship, was to fill up an almost empty tank..

Wow didn’t know it was different. Here in the UK its part of the On The Road (OTR) price for new cars. jamo9017 should have got this with his car if it was new but if used then he did get a freebie which is better than a mug or umbrella or bunch of flowers. When I got my last Civic 4 years ago the dealer offered to fill the tank as part of the deal but it wasn’t in with the price so I was quite happy.

That's two of you now, i'm feeling really left out . I'm tempted to post on the Holdcroft Honda section and ask them to send my mugs

Wow!! That's the best freebie so far.

However I suppose they cover the cost of all these freebies by passing the cost onto us customers anyway.

Who wants trinkets? Much, much better to get a good part ex and a space saver wheel etc.

Yes I second that. Rather have a good wedge knocked off the price with mats or a space saver chucked in or even a half price first service.

I got a bright red honda umbrella. I've just bought a new car - I'm not planning on walking anywhere!

I bought my CTR in September 07 got flowers for other half and nice leather / metal keyrings from dealer.

About a month later large brown package dropped on door step.

Opened it to find neat key ring thingy with a sort of twist off mechanism.
Nothing like the ones pictured here. Shall find it out and post pictures.

Chris
