Yep same here and I had to save hard for my old bangers no rich parents I am afraid.

But isn't it best to make your mistakes in an old banger? I think so, you cant beat a slow old banger to master the art of driving

Most people thrash their first car to bits.

Good thing it was an old banger and not a new car...

In order to make an old banger go fast you need to learn how to drive, as you want to avoid using the brakes to slow down that hard earned speed....
