Yeah I was quoted £350 until I rang round and found one offering it for £295, then got my local dealer to match it, so ended up paying £295 in total for 2nd service.

Wish I'd shopped around myself now - my second service was £380
I knew the diesel would cost more and to be fair the dealer did list the service costs when i bought it but it still stings when you have to pay up

Just to kick in the teeth just after Christmas, it need new front pads at 25000 miles as well - thank goodnes for Honda Happiness, I am sure without it they would have been more than £85......

might be worth remembering that your not restricted to dealers anymore for serviceing! as long as genuine parts are used your waranty is un-effected!! but unless you know a reliable garage its a gamble!! when i spoke to honda dealer this week about replacing a wing mirror (someone kindly knocked off leaving me a £300 bill!!) they said they charge £60 per hour for labour! whereas a reliable garage will probable charge half that and do a better job than the young apprentice in most honda garages!!

Worth thinking about but like i said a gamble if you dont know them!!
