My first service (12500 miles) cost £167 and that included fitting a fog light for me at £25. There is no reason at all for them to do a 25000 miles service just because you are over the mileage. £280 is extrating the micheal if you ask me. Is there another dealr fairly near to you?

This will be the second service, they said all filters will be replaced...

There is another Honda garage a bit further from me, but will get a quote from them too..

Blimey, makes our 5 year service plan on the petrol engines seem cheap at £500 .

£25 to fit the fog light seems cheap. How much did you have to pay for the fog light kit?

Are you saying that this is the second service on the car i.e. it's already been services once, or that as you've missed the 12500 they are doing a 25000 service at 15000 miles??
If the second as I say they are taking the P*ss.
Although you are 2500 miles over they should just do a 12500 service

For my second service on a CTDi, I have been quoted between 290 + 350 from different garages.
The CTDi is more to service, that is why the service plan is an extra £300.
Annoyingly my car was 9 months old when I got it so I was unable to get the plan.

Car was first serviced when I bought it, with 7500 miles on clock. Its a year since that so requires its annual, or as they say a 25,000 service plan as it has done more than 15,000 miles.

Got second quote of £320, so looks like first quote is the one to go with.

When I had my Accord diesel, the most I ever paid for a service was £289, and that was for it's biggest service at 75K. However, my 1st service in the Civic was £189, whereas on the Accord it was £140, so no doubt Honda have put the prices up (car serviced at same dealer).

Can echo that, service lady said prices had just gone up.

I was quoted £290 and when I asked for a high mileage discount I was told already heavily discounted. Not convinced I phoned another local garage and was quoted £350!!! Better adjust my annual servicing budget as I have done 12000 since August!!!

Yes, £280 is a good price, RRP on service 2 is £300, cylon2007 clearly hasn't had a second service on a civic 2.2 yet, see my post a few months back.

I've purchased a 2006 diesel Sport from Honda dealer which I will be picking up on Sat, I also purchased the next 2 services as part of the deal for £349 (car has just over 8k miles) from the dealer, seemed to be reasonable price for the next 2 services....

Just paid 499GBP for 3 years service. Wanted over 700 for 5 years. Still 500 for 5 years petrol model at Arnold Clark Honda Kirkcaldy.

Anyone get it cheaper around Fife, Scotland.... give me a shout and I'll go back and argue for a discount
