Question Good Deal??

Evening all,
New poster here and just wanted to run past the details of a car I will probably purchase next week. Wanted to know what you all thought.

Oct 2006 Type-S 1.8
3000 Miles
Silver
18" Alloys
Front side and rear sports pack with fog lamps fitted
I-pod connection
suede style interior, not sure if this is standard?

Pretty sure all the other kit it has is standard so not gonna list it all.
It has been a demo car and the dealer is looking £12500 for it, the car is like new though. Will be a big step up from my 1.2 Ford!

Been reading up as much as I can recently and found this site great so keep up the good work.

Thanks in advance to any replies

Looks like a good deal with those extras, have you really pushed him/her as far as they'll go on price.

NO!
I'm confident I can get him down to 12K or I am thinking of getting the Bluetooth kit installed as another extra but not too sure. I think it looks like a good deal but as with any big purchase I am not 100%. If I go ahead with it I will get some pictures up and let you know how I get on.
How integrated with the sound system is the bluetooth?
I imagine it comes in and cuts out the cd/radio?
Is the cd player a standard in dash 6 cd?

Thanks for the help

The standard in dash CD is a single disc but it does play MP3/WMA files so about 11 albums to a disc

No problem.
I don't have the bluetooth kit fitted, but I'm sure someone will be able to advise you.

Good luck with the haggling!!

Yes I burn cdr's in wma format and in my opinion it is much better than using the limited function i-pod kit.

Glad I didn't opt for it.

Yeah,
The dealer hasn't even mentioned the kit, I just noticed it in the little compartment in front of the gear stick. Might get an I-Pod for the car if I go ahead with it.
Just noticed on the controls for the cd player option for disc up and down, this must be for an external changer then I am guessing?

The WMA Cd seems like a good option to take advantage of though.

I hadnt even been thinking of changing my current car until I drove past the dealership! Got an itch now though!

I think you'll be disappointed with the i-pod kit, the functionality is very limited.

Do a search on here for i-pod kit there is loads to read about it. The general opinion is it is not worth bothering.

I get 15-16 albums on one cdr in wma format and the head unit will display album, artist and track info, it is really good.
