Spare wheel bag and net

I forked out for a spare wheel when I got my Civ late last year and the service guy simply came out onto the carpark and fitted it into the boot for me. I thought nothing of it, but then came to the knowledgeable bods on here and found I should have had a bag and net with it but the stealers are in the habit of keeping them to sell on to other customers

I went for a service on Friday and asked about them. Hey presto, they appeared on my passenger seat when I picked my car up. But now I have them, I have no idea what I'm meant to do with them!!!

Does anyone have pics of them doing what they're meant to do??!

The bag is to put your dirty punctured wheel in when you have fitted spacesaver, the net is to secure the wheel in the boot using the hooks that are in the boot. haven't got a photo as haven't had to use it

Also, the net, is great for holding down all the supermarket shopping, or even a dealer, who you have just done in and wish to dispose of somewhere.

LOL!! Thanks guys! Much appreciated. Can't say I have much use for the net as my boot is full of a duvet to keep my dog comfi but, if I'm entitled to it, I damn well wanted it!

I use it to keep a jerrycan with diesel from bouncing around in the boot. Stays neatly in place this way. Haven't taken a look to how the net is fixed to the boot, but I could if you want me to.

Munro, I was blissfully unaware until a good soul on here posted a thread about it. It seems the stealers are in the habit of keeping them back to sell on... when we've forked out £100+ for the wheel!!

Naughty naughty! Suffice to say, my dealer simply handed them over without question when challenged. Amazing what a bit of Civinfo knowledge can get you! Thanks guys
