So they can make the orange one.
(Utterly stupid, as every car maker has a blue car, because it is a popular colour. But this is a characteristic of Japanese thought: they decide for you) |

Yes, they do indeed, but still I keep asking myself why they removed the vivid blue and NOT the royal blue??!! That's the million dollar question, as the vivid blue appeared to be a much more popular colour than the latter. |

Why did they waste the last few Vivid Blue bodyshells doing a 1.4 special edition????
It would have been alot more worthwhile to put the 2.2 engine in them!!!!! (awaiting stick for this) They have now stopped the only two decent colours for 5 doors (3 drs look brilliant in red) and too scared to get Tangerine even though I admire it, if I was to change now I really am not sure which colour I would go for. |

I think stopping the vivid blue is a wrong tactic. They could have discarded one of a hundred shades of grey to make room for the tangerine orange, if discarding a colour was a must.

It reminds me of when Ford built his T-Ford: available in all colours as long as it was black.
Honda Civic: available in all colours as long as they're shades of grey. |

If they weren't selling that many, they could think of offering custom colours as an option, would be nice |
