Price Wipers & Tyre Replacement?!

Hi everyone, after some help and advise!

Firstly I am needing to replace my wipers as 1 has started to split. Is it only a dealer thing or can I get these unique wipers cheaper from elsewhere?

Secondly I am going to need to replace my front tyre's in the next month or so and was wondering the cheapest option? I am not after a brand name, just some economical ones as money is tight. I have the 18" Altimo's on my car so can someone give me ideas of price etc?

The wipers are aero wipers and can be obtained from ebay. But have a look at this thread, there are some online stockists listed. Also one guy got them from a main dealer for £19 for the pair.

Also there are some bargain brand new tyres on ebay too. You might find you can get a top brand named pair quite cheaply.

I believe Bosh makes aero wipers, so they should be able to get.
Be careful with wiper the length, so it sweeps the rain sensor.

Had both my wipers replaced by the main dealer at the same time as 25k service. Cost of the wipers including VAT £18.80.

At that price I wouldn't bother with non-genuine ones.

Autobulbs Direct do wiper blades as well as bulbs. Might even get the Civinfo extra discount as well.

Well the car is due for it's service next month anyway so might as well just get genuine wipers at £20. Thanks for all the help on that front guys.

Anyone got approx price for non branded 18" tyres supplied & fitted?

I am trying Tyre Warehouse (a local Bradford company who is famous for his 4 tyre's for £50 offer!) although not for every car of course!

He advertises with the radio station I work for!

Just got a quote for £80 per tyre supplied and fitted, anyone know a better deal?

They are £20 a pair fitted at Honda dealers, it's not worth going else where to save a pound or 2

I got new wipers from my dealer for £18, fitted there and then, took all of about 3 mins.

I've just had a reply from autobulbsdirect and they say our Civic is not mentioned in the data for these blades and this therefore may indicate that they are dealer specific.
