got my first service comming up. i no its not on the list for things to do on the first service but is it worth getting them to change the gearbox oil?

If it's not on the service schedule I wouldn't bother. Honda know what needs doing and when better than you do!!

According to the wiki, 1st service for a Type R is about £125 to £135.

Where it says 12,500 miles or 1 year, does it mean you need to service which ever one comes first?
