Will I be notified
My First service is due in mid-March at 12 Months even though I've done only 6500 miles.
I paid for the Fixed price servicing. Does anybody know if Stratstone will inform me or should I chase it up myself? |

hi
it basically depends on the efficiancy of your dealership. they should inform you of your sevice/mot approx 3 weeks before its due, if they dont then im afraid you will have to chase it up yourself. once you have had your sevice done (as long it is the 1st or 2nd service) and it has been logged on the system you will be contacted by honda uk for a customer service questionaire. this is when you can vent your frustrations about your dealer or tell them how good they have been, dealerships take these results very seriously....or mine does anyway. |

Pretty much as per Honda Techs post. Most dealerships these days have good links between customer databases and the service department should be notified that X, Y and Z are due for their annual service at a certain point. I know for a fact that when I invoice a new or used car out, i have to fill ion service due dates so that the system will inform my service manager when a service is due.
Theres nothing stopping you calling them and booking it in though, especially if you want a loan car as they can usually be booked up at least two weeks in advance... |

I got a letter on the weekend from my local dlr to remind me that mine might be due
It's not, cos I do a lot of miles, and need more than 1 service per year - but it was a good try by them |

Just had the 2nd service done, I always sort it out well before so it can be done when it is best for me. I would like to think they would have tho.
