going to place an order - what's the best deal and options?

ok, found out that the 3 door is out in jan...can't wait that long!

so, i'm going to buy the Civic 1.8 EX with leather, panormic roof

what's the best deal around for one of these?

what's it like driving with the 18"?

which other options are a must and is the upgraded speaker system worth it?

thanks!

can't help on the best deals, but

18" is (for me anyway) fine - but I've come from other firm riding cars...

upgraded stereo (baseworks) - probably better of spending dosh on aftermarket stuff

Reverse camera is great

blue ambient lights also - but cheaper to DIY

if you get the 'Studio Pack' at £850 it includes the rear view camera, door garnishes, blue ambient lighting and elegance floor carpets.

Based on what I have seen on here I think the biggest discounts come from internet brokers like www.drivethedeal.com who will get around £1200 off list price but they don't p/ex so it depends if you have a car to p/ex and whether you can be bothered to sell your car privately.

My test drive of two Civic 1.8 EX's were on 18" and I didn't find the ride too harsh but have decided to stick with the 17" which should improve the ride for my 2yr old in the back. As WoolyCiv has suggested I gone for the studio pack and got it thrown into the equation when I agreed my deal with my local stealer.

Have a look at 'How Much Did You Pay?' in 'Buying'. Might help.
