2 cracking choices there!
without wanting to stray off topic (or I might have to move my own posts! Not a 3.2 - wrong front and spoiler would have guessed at pre '02 from the ride height, but the interior colour says post '02... So I'm going to pump for a 1.8 Tiptronic? could be way out though, long time since I've had to remember exact specs You might want to visit UK TT Forum :: UK TTOC (but beware, it's a LOT less civilised than this place!), and definately consider joining up at The TT Owners Club (TT Owners club, with discounts, meets, track days, qtrly mag and other stuff) If you do, tell them DIRY says hi! I'm sure you'll enjoy both your new toys! |

Is it a 225 or 180?
I saw your post over on the TT site. Been a member there forever but never posted. I used to have a 225 TT as a company car, it was on a W plate. Had to wait an extra month to get it if I remember correctly, as it was about that time they where sticking a spoiler and ESP on them. Loved the car. Back then it was a rarely seen sight on the road and people would always come over and talk to you about it. Would have one again, if for nothing more than the design statement it made at the time. People think its old-hat now but at the time it was a very bold move. It was a good drive too, effortlessly crunching those motorway miles. |

We need our own sub-section!
there are at least 5 TT owners or ex-owners on here now which probably says something about either us, or the design statements of the cars, or both |

......and don't forget the TT doesn't come with a rear *****, so it will keep the purists happy here as well! "Remember. It takes 42 muscles to frown. But only 4 muscles to pull the trigger of a decent sniper rifle!" |
