New 2.2 ES NHB landed

Got my new Civ on Tuesday. Absolutely thrilled to bits. Amazing in every respect. Scary power, got to be really careful as before you know it you are up to 80 and very close to traffic in front of you.

My 7 year old son made me laugh, he thinks the rear cup holders are great

Will try to take and post some PICS at the weekend.

On a slightly different note, how many pages in the manual -520. That is some serious reading. I think they have probably covered every eventuality

nice to hear!

Wait till you give your son's mate a lift - I can guarantee he'll hang back and wait for them to try to get in via the front doors...

errrr

guess I'd best fess up before Neil dumps me in it...

took my Civ for it's 2nd service to Bassetts in Bridgend, was talking to Neil about the Type S and it's glass roof.
"yep, one over there, jump in "

TTDegs wanders over to the one with the glass roof, is happy fiddling and looking up...

"Didn't you want the S?"

Well I had only owned mine for about a year at the time...

PS. I'm sure Neil wouldn't have dropped me in it, just thought this might be the time to own up!

First of all, judging by your avatar you are going for the 2.2 ES NHB, Good choice

I ordered mine in January and it went into stock about 6 weeks later, however, I had to wait a few weeks as the leasing company would not register the car on a 57 plate, so I got mine on 4 March 08. It was well worth the wait as I got a fabulous car on a 08 plate.

I just washed it today for the first time. Invested in a chamois leather and a rain magnet cloth today. The magnet really makes a difference. The sun was shining this afternoon and I could really see the blue tones in the paintwork. Lovely. NHB Rocks. Very classy indeed.

Sounds good, I may not have to wait as long as I first thought. I am going for a NHB 2.2 ES as you said, but with leather seats, I have also risked ordering an ipod connector, despite what is said !!!!!!!!!
