New Civic Type S price, any good?

Hi

been to the local dealer and they talked them down to £16,100 for a new black type S 2.2 diesel - only extra i got was the fog lamps which i think is a must for the type S

have not really looked around to much, just seeing if anyone has got anything cheaper recently

have to wait a month for it tho , but on holiday for 2 weeks so it aint so bad,

The dealer has managed to basically match buycar broker price there so you should be very happy with that. Not many dealers will do this. Check it out:

Honda Civic 2.2 i-CTDi Type S 3dr Hatchback New UK car

Go for it! But type S GT is all that i would look at, boys + their toys and all that...

The extras in the GT are fantastic value for the money.However,having previously had the glass roof,I went for the basic S this time around for the extra headroom.This allows you to use the full range of seat adjustment if a more raised seating position is your thing.Cruise control is the one thing I do occasionally miss,but not a deal breaker.

its a bit cheaper than that site as its in nighthawk black with fogs

i looked at the GT but as far as i can tell it only has cruise control and a glass roof and is not worth the extra money

especially since reading this site i see you can remap the ecu for 500 which is better than having cruise control

Auto headlamps/wipers,dual climate,front fogs,glass roof,cruise control-quite a lot really for the extra cash

It gets better and better!(now you've said,together with the cruise,they were handy on occasion).
