Yes sorry you are correct, the S2000 needs servicing every 9,000 miles. Its just that my previuos car was a diesel and I had to service that more regularly, but with Honda this is the same as petrol. It must be this Man Flu thats effecting me!

Righty, I got my Honda Happiness last Monday (was a late Xmas pressie) and when I was looking through my stuff tonight I noticed that they have my address down as number 32 for the street I live on, but there is only 25 houses and I live at number 7! Will this make a difference to Honda? I'm thinking that its something that Honda could say would void the package????
I also noticed that on the bill of sale for it, even though my millage was 2314 they had put down 2600, not that will make much of a difference, just makes them think i'm doing more miles than I actually am. |

Send your Dealer an e mail Angie and save it.
You paid for it,so let them correct it. If you don't receive a reply from them, they can't say they didn't receive it, coz you have the proof. |

Yeah, I'm going to ring them. They do have my address right on file, but Honda Happiness is where they have to manually input all the details. Don't know where he got 32 from lol!!!
The guy also reads this site and already knew my name lol!! |

It actually took less posts than that, but its proof that the dealers up my way do see this site, oh and they read my post about the other branch at Abbey Hill
My sister did ask do I not use my proper forename (Angela) cause they all call me Angie - Even on the Honda Happiness they have me down as Angie |

It may be that the particular dealer you spoke to pays their staff commission on it but its certainly not from Honda. |

Update - Been advised that they just go on the reg (unless its Abbey Hill) and it doens't make a difference but they have changed the details of the address with Honda on the Honda Happiness.......Wonder how the reg thing will work if I sell the car before 5 years is up as I have a private plate which was its first reg lol!

That is a good price. I've been offered a two year deal today for £344, as I explained, to my dealer, I will probably only keep my car for three years and swap it as the third service is due.
Looks like for the extra £156 I'll be going for the Honda Happiness 5 year deal and sell it on with the car. I think it would be a good selling point if I decided to sell privately. |

Good deal, but if you plan to buy an ex demo, under 8 months old and intend to keep it for more than 2 or 3 years then you'll still have to fork out for honda Happiness....unless your happy paying for the servicing.

Finally I got around to going to Holdcrofts today and purchased the Honda Happiness service plan, before it was too late. My car is 8 months old on the 26th.
And I also picked up a red H key back, and a free Honda diary!!! Cheers Gaz |
