Honda Happiness

As anybody managed to buy a Honda Happiness Service Package?

This week i've tried at two different Honda dealers, and to Honda direct to buy the above mentioned package for my 2.2 EX, You would of thought that they would of been eager and open handed to except my £850.

Several members here have signed up for it.
(I have not as that option is not available here).

Try one of our on-line dealers.

One was more bothered about selling there own package. And the other had never sold one before and was struggling to set it up on the computer, so they contacted Honda to talk them through the procedure. even with Hondas help they couldn't make it work! So now £850 burning hole a hole in my pocket!!

I've opted for the Honda Happiness scheme with my new type r.

Cost me £500

Good deal really when on average the service cost £160 - £200

Wear and tear parts aren't covered such as wipers etc though.

Well thats correct that they don't offer it. There is no Honda Happiness from Honda for the Diesel. The Honda Happiness package is for the Petrol models and costs £500. Some dealers offer a package at £850 for the Diesel but THEY are Subsidising it themselves! Honda subsidise the dealers with the £500 package for the petrol!

Its not a given that your entitled to it. Some dealer offer it and some don't. The servicing on the 2.2 to the 1.4, 1.8 & 2.0 is quite a bit more.

Sorry but thats the way it is

If you look at the Honda Uk website they do offer a 5 year service plan for the Diesel at £850

Hmm still cant find it on the Honda site, but if you care to look st this thread from John Pease Honda then you'll see why i've said what I have

Honda Happiness 5 Year svs plan

On another point Honda state Honda Happiness is only available from participating dealers. This also goes for the fixed price parts and fittings

Thanks TC! Now Moose has to establish if his dealer is a Honda Happiness participating dealer. Can see no reason not to be, but you never know
