Yeah, I had to declare them because I'm getting an ES where parking sensors are not standard. If I'd got an EX I wouldn't have had to declare them.

The reason I was given by the guy on the phone was

"If someone has parking sensors, they tend to become reliant on them so if the sensors fail then they'll just reverse into something"

Type R GT with Rage Alloys, 23 Years old (female), No Points, No convictions, No accidents, First time i've insured a car in my name so 0 No Claims....£100 excess, Social, Pleasure and commuting (but I don't take it to work, but just incase lol!) fully comp with Admiral for £517

I'm starting to think my insurance is a rip-off, but £650 was the best deal I could find (most wanted £1000+).

Does the postcode really make that much of a difference?

57 plate 2.2 diesel EX - £591 with Zurich. Im 23 with 6 years protected no claims with 3 points for speeding! Not the cheapest but affordable.

Part of it is down to post code. I've lived in 3 different areas of Bolton with the same car and it changed each time. All the variables were the same like how it was stored at night and the like, only thing that changed was post code and the premium varied by anything up to £100

Abosolutle full NCB, never had an at fault accident, neither has the wife
Driving almost 22 years, she 19 years

and I get to pay the pricely sum of over £700 (can't remember exact figure) with a £500 voluntary excess!!
Damn Birmingham postcodes.

So I am hopping mad at some of the deals you lot are getting, especially Angie
