Thumbs down Brindley Honda

Basically word of warning do not use these guys. I went to the one in wolverhampton for some warrenty repairs and was told i would have to pay which i disputed and took to another Honda dealership who did the work for me at no cost. In fact i was informed that for warrenty claims Honda actually pay them to do it.

I am assuming that they wanted me to pay (over £400) and then claim from Honda.

Stay clear. Robbing Dogs.

TBH I cannot comment on Brindley Wolverhampton but I bought my Fr-V from Brindley Halesowen a few years ago and they were excellent, even the after service was great. This time around I bought my Type-R from Brindley West Bromwich and they were even better than the Halesowen branch, the sales guy could not do enough for us and never once tried to pressure us into buying anything other than just the car, not even the Diamond Brite kit that they are obliged by their sales manager to push (I know this, as it was on the brain storming board in his office, under things to sell to ALL customers).
Maybe the one in Wolverhampton is the bad egg of the bunch ?? I work in Wolvo. so I may pop in and ask about the 3rd gear issue, see their response.

I have just put a deposit on a diesel Civic EX at Brindley Halesowen and must say they have been more than helpfull. The sales person offered money off everything and offered things I hadn't even asked for yet! Although I haven't got the car yet (5 days 2 go) I left their very happy and actually spent £1000 less than I had expected!

Welcome to the Civic club and if you live near Halesowen maybe you'll see me with my sticker some time.

Yes Brindley are very good, unfortunately when I ordered mine it had just come out, so no discounts. Maybe one day I'll tell the woman on the service desk that my name isn't Kieth.

i purchased my civic from them about 2weeks ago they did me a fantastic deal on a new one. Have to admit there was a delay due to an issue with the heater not work but this was when it came from the factory. The whole process run very smoothly though i was not pressured into buying at salesman was very good and helpful.

I have had all my Honda's from Brindley in Halesowen, CR-V, Stream and now Civic, they are excellent. Wolverhampton must be a bad egg. I even got a free full service from them when they messed up some repairs on the CR-V.

Looking at all these "local" posts, we should get a Civic meet going for all us Black Country type folk.

Hmmmm....Halesowen, we could drive up and down that lovely stretch of road called Manor Way all day long

I meant she offered 6 months tax, first service and repaired a curbed alloy without me having to ask! She did me a great deal.

Good idea, that would certainly upset the large Audi dealer situated there

What an excellent idea!!

I actually bought my Civic from Holdcroft in Hanley (very good service) but use JT Hughes in Telford for servicing etc, also very good.

I use Brindley Honda (Halesowen) and am happy with their service.
Both me and my wife take our Civics (old style and new style) there.

I didn't buy the car from them though as they offered me a much worse deal than Colliers (Erdington).

Maybe the salesman i spoke too just didnt know what he was talking about or a liar. I shall not say what the other dealer called him.

Just a suggestion though peeps if in doubt check it out. No harm in getting second opinions from an alternative dealer. It saved me a load of cash.
