wee... Civic ordered..

Hi everyone..

Went to the dealer today, he took a quick look at our 8 year old Peugeot 306 2.0 XS, asked about the km and service history.. he offered Dkr.- 40000 /3695£ for it with 142000km on the clock..

then went inside.. got a really good deal.. read on..

ordered 1.8 Sport, Colour NHB, parking sensors, Elegance mats, rubbermats for the wintertime, trunk rubber mat, detachable Fix 13pin with 7 pin adapter, front and rear mudgards, emergency pack with emergency wheel, first aid kit, flashlight etc, civic doortrims with logo(you know what i mean), speakerrings, and the best thing.. all trim + mudgards will be colour coded..

then i made the best of all deals.. the dealer is also delivering a Type R, which should arrive next monday.. the owner of this has ordered the 19" Rage wheels and 16" winterwheels.. so the dealer gave us a good price on the 18" Type R´s.. 9000Dkr.- / 831£.. then he will remove the original tyres from our 17" wheels and give us 750Dkr.+ tax/approx. 70£ for each tyre..

shut down price on the peugeot was then calculated to 32000Dkr/approx 3000£.. and we couldn´t be happier, and more excited.. it is a really good deal.. and we look very much forward to get rid of the french *beep*..

so we can only say weeeeeeee...

any of you in here have experience with driving on wintertyres in the original size 225/45-17".. any problems.. ?? they are a bit wider than normal wintertyres..

the dealer told us that with every french car they take in an sell on, they get problems/warranty issues if you can call it that..

usually with the seatwarmer, vingmirror warmer, airbaglights turning on/off.. etc..

we are never.. NEVER ever buying a french car again..

just be well informed about the thing you want to buy, and give it a huge push while talking to the dealer.. got a 1400£/15000Dkr.- discount on the listed price, cause i told him i´ve seen on a homepage here in Denmark that i could buy with that discount through the hp.. wasn´t a lie and he knew about the page and then gave us the discount..

final price is with our equipment.. 239xx£ 258-259000Dkr.-

listed price standard sport equipped is 24946£ 270000Dkr.-

I take it they work differently over there then as if you order 19's they arrive on the car as a factory fit.....I just hope that the Type R the other guy has ordered does arrive with 18's otherwise your dealer will have to get you some 18's from somewhere

yes, it probably is different.. here every Type R is delivered with the 18" std.wheels.. even if you order it with 19" Rage.. and it had arrived thursday..

So on friday i saw our black beauty for the first time.. already had the Type R wheels mounted.. and she is GORGEUS!?!... even though she´s still torn apart.. pictures will come as soon i have downscaled them..

but the unfortunate thing is.. now that i have seen her, its so much harder to wait...

Hard time for you that's right !

The waiting of a Civic is a real pain
But you will drive it soon and you will show to the other drivers the famous "Civic Grin"
