are you sure? because my dealer told me explicitly that i would be the only owner if i would ever sell it on. Offcourse there is the possibility that he lied

The log book for mine explicitly states that I am the second owner - the dealer being the first. Sorry Woette.

My name is the only name in the Service book.
But my car bought as a demo was two months old and had 170 miles on the clock.

Gaz
should never be a problem as they 'new' owner will quite clearly see that the first owner was a dealership from the details on the V5 document.

I bought my prelude from Honda in Hemel years ago which was a demo with about 3k on the clock and I can honestly say that I never had a single problem with the car (apart from inconsiderate ba star ds that hit your car in car par and drive away without leaving any details ) The car was bullet proof and well built - which left me a little bit disappointed with the build quality of the type r.

I think it also depends on the car you're buying - I personally wouldn't buy a type r as an ex demo as we all know the sales pitch

Make sure you check your baby thoroughly for scratches etc. after servicing as they are particularly bad for it there (were for me anyway)
